Theresa Johanna Lamers

Theresa J. Lamers, age 86 of Sun Prairie, passed away in the comfort of her own home on May 3, 2013.

Theresa was born on September 19, 1926 to Henry and Johanna Van Nuland, the youngest of 12. She was united in marriage to Donald Lamers on August 31, 1948 in Kimberly, WI. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, walking, and golf.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Gail (Lan) Waddell of Marshall, WI, her sons Dean (Diana) Lamers of Combined Locks, WI and Jay (Debra) Lamers of Kimberly; grandchildren Sarah, Ben, Drew, Tina, Jamie, Rob, David, and Ashlee; great-grandchildren Trent, Nora, and Miles; sister-in-law Germaine Hietpas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and all her brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie at 11 a.m. on May 16, 2013 with Msgr. Terry Connors presiding. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
