Sandra Lee Timme

PORTAGE -- Sandra L. Achterberg Timme, 63, of Portage, died peacefully in her home.

Sandee was born Aug. 24, 1949, in Portage, the daughter of Clifford and Joyce Sanders Achterberg. On Jan. 1, 1990, she married the love of her life, Douglas Timme.

Sandee is survived by her two sons, Jason (Kati) Achterberg, and Corey Achterberg; her mother, Joyce Schrab; her sister, Judith Achterberg; two brothers, Wayne Achterberg and Fred Achterberg; grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Timme; father, Clifford Achterberg; and nephew, Christopher Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Highway 33 East, Portage, with Pastor Dick Englett officiating. Visitation will be held before the service from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will be held after the memorial service.
