Rosa G. (Haldemann) Hustad, 84, of Windsor, died peacefully with her daughter by her side at her home on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Rosa was born March 17, 1928, in Hustisford, Wisconsin. She was a devoted wife to Archie Hustad for 53 years, and a mother who loved unconditionally. While living in Mt. Horeb for over 33 years she was employed at the Karakaul Inn and the Gonstead Clinic. She was a member of the Lord of Love Lutheran Church in De Forest. She enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, traveling and watching the Badger and Green Bay Packer games. One of her greatest joys was tending to her beautiful outdoor flowers. She was a sweet person who will be deeply missed.
Rosa is survived by her daughter, Carol Dunn (Jeff Gifford) of Windsor, brothers Ed Haldemann (Delores) of Beaver Dam and Oscar Haldemann of Middleton, brother-in-law Charles (Gladys) Hustad, Verona and Ray Dobratz, Beaver Dam, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Rosa Haldemann; husband Archie Hustad; sisters, Gertrude Guse and Della Dobratz, brothers, Edgar and Otto Haldemann, and other family relatives.
The family will receive friends on July 20, 2012 from 10:30 - 11:30 am at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, De Forest. Pastor Jerry Ewings will officiate the service at 11:30.
A special thanks to Agrace Hospice for their loving care of my mother and the many friends who provided support. Mom you are now soaring with the Angels. Your love will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8.
