Robert L. Boardman

Robert L. Boardman, age 54, of Madison, died suddenly on July 12, 2023.  Born March 26. 1969, in Madison, Wisconsin to parents, Robert and Lillian Boardman (Sagmoen). He was a graduate of East High School in Madison and jumped into the working world, including becoming an entrepreneur. Rob was most recently known as the Pizza Guy working at Rosati’s Pizza.

Rob was always willing to help a friend in need including numerous cats and fish! Rob enjoyed hanging out with his friends, especially on holidays and traveling to Hawaii and Spain.  He was a spirited person, especially if you got him talking about politics! Family gatherings were always a comic act when Rob and his brothers were at the table!

Rob is survived by his mother, Lillian Boardman; brothers, Dan Boardman (Heidi Aschenbrenner) and Steven Boardman (Lyzz Glueckstein). He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Boardman and his grandparents, Lloyd and Clarice Sagmoen, and Leonette (Boardman) Kendhammer . Feline companion Dr. Jones joined Rob on 8/3/2023.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 30 at 313 New Castle Way Madison WI.
