MIDDLETON - Reta Kay Cerniglia passed away peacefully on Sunday April 10, 2016. Kay was born on Jan. 8, 1938, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle Duncan. During Kay's high school years she modeled for Manchester's until she graduated from East High School. Kay married her high school sweetheart Joe on Apr. 27, 1957. In addition to raising her family, Kay worked for the Middleton Court System, Quisling Clinic and Talbots. Kay enjoyed card club with her girlfriends, watching The Sound of Music, knitting, shopping, and was an avid reader. Kay is survived by her husband Joe; daughter Kathy (Rod) Ellenbecker; sons, Tony (Jerri) and Dominic (Robyn) Cerniglia. She is further survived by her brothers, Charles (Helen) Duncan, Curt Duncan; sister Sandra (Irv) Vogel; in-law's Peter (Joann), Russ (Candi), Vito (Sandy) Cerniglia; grandchildren, Ryan Ellenbecker, Nichole, Kaitlyn, C.J. Retallick; great-grandchild Brynn Retallick; along with many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; brother, Bill Duncan; sister-in-law Mary Duncan and father and Mother-in-law George and Teresa Cerniglia . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST THOMAS AQUINAS, 602 Everglades Dr., Madison WI, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15th 2016, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding.
