Ralph H. "Cookie" Sennhenn, 75, of Beaver Dam, passed peacefully into the next life during the early morning hours of March 7, 2013, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.
Cookie was born November 15, 1937 in Columbus, WI, the son of Arthur and Helen (Yohn) Sennhenn. He attended Columbus schools and served our nation as a member of the United States Army. He married the former Katherine Winckler of Barton, WI on June 30, 1962, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage last summer. He was known to say that the happiest day of his life was the day his son, Bryan, was first placed in his arms.
Cookie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Katherine, son Bryan (Kat) of Fitchburg, as well as his beloved cat, Tina. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and the cherished friends with whom he loved visiting at Game On Sports Bar and Grill in Beaver Dam.
Cookie was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Helen, sister Doris (Sennhenn) Groening and her husband Wesley, as well as cherished canine friends Snickers and Alexa.
The family would like to thank Musa, Denise, Linda and all the staff and regulars at Game On for all the love and laughter over the years. Heartfelt thanks also go to the staff of the MICU at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, especially Dr. Sean Trafficante and all the MICU nurses, Jennifer and the staff at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, and Jarod and the staff at Informed Choice for being so gentle, helpful and caring during this difficult time.
