Pearl Kusche (Kelzenberg) of Madison, Wisconsin died peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2013. Pearl celebrated her 102nd birthday this summer.
She was a graduate of Edgewood High School and the former executive assistant to Wisconsin Secretary of State Robert Zimmerman. Pearl, with her warm sense of humor and giving personality, was always there for her friends. She was glad to lend a hand in any way she could. She drove friends to the grocery or doctor's office, and was reliably there to give care and comfort in times of more profound need.
She is survived by her nieces, Jo Mett (Kelzenberg) and Jean Kelzenberg Stoll, caring friends Fritz and Kathy Kruger and many other dear friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Kusche.
Services will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to marjiesfund.org in honor of her niece Marjorie Johnson (Kelzenberg).
