Lila Elaine Baker

SUN PRAIRIE - Lila Elaine Baker, age 94, of Sun Prairie, WI died February 18, 2017 peacefully at home. She was born September 6, 1922 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of George L and Etta L Baker.
Lila grew up in Rockton, IL and graduated from Hononegah High School in 1941. She was an honor student in school. She liked geography. She played piano and she loved to dance.
Lila worked at the Warner Brake and Clutch Company for over 32 years.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1954. She will be most remembered by her family and friends for her zealous and loyal devotion for and faith in her creator. She voluntarily gave of her time and resources to the strengthening and sharing of her faith with others.
Lila is survived by her two children, Donald James Alderman (Peggy) of Rathdrum, ID; and Yvonne Faye Mischka (David) of Sun Prairie, WI. She is further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service is at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5475 Portage Rd., Madison, WI on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 3:00 pm. Friends and family may call from 2:30 until time of service.
