Leroy N. Graves, died at the age of 68 on September 2, 2013, in Madison, WI. He was born in Greeley, CO on September 15, 1944. He graduated from River Valley High School in Spring Green, WI in 1963. LeRoy Married Donna Wilkinson in 1966 and they divorced 1980. LeRoy was an employee of Badger Army Ammunition plant and was severely injured in an explosion there in 1971. After a lengthy recovery he began working as a dispatcher and 911 call center operator for Dane County police. He retired form there after 30 years of employment. He loved that job and was very proud to have been part of law enforcement. He had many stories - some very serious and some very funny. He is preceded in death by his parents George R. Graves and Nora Mary (Kaiser) Graves. He leaves two sons, Wayne Graves of Cottage Grove, WI and Kendall Graves of Baraboo, WI. He also leaves one ex Daughter-in-Law, Amy Graves and her son (Leroy's only grandchild), Alex Graves of Deerfield, WI. LeRoy is the first of his siblings to pass and is survived by his brothers, Vern (Bonnie) Graves of Lone Rock, WI, Mike (Amy) Graves of Parma, MI, Randy (Elaine) Graves of Arena, WI, Greg Graves (Lori Foster) of Port Haddlock, WA and his sisters Pat (Mike) Hill of Arena, WI and Cindy (Howard) Perkins of Seattle, WA., and also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
LeRoy's final preparation is being handled by Informed Choice Crematorium in Madison, WI. There will be a private family ceremony at the Arena Cemetery.

A very special thank you to Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg, WI for the kind, gentle, dignified care they gave LeRoy during his final days. God speed to you LeRoy. You will be missed by all of us that knew and loved you.
