June, aka "Granny" passed peacefully at home, Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 after a two year battle with cancer. June was born to James and Frances (Gilbert) Phillips on April 10, 1936. She graduated from East High School, Madison, class '54. She married Walter C. Shaub on July 8, 1955 in Mississippi. June was employed at Walgreen's Distribution Center for 25 years until she retired in 2007. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed being in the yard, gardening, ceramics, macramé, painting, upholstery, interior design, the Packers, her TV shows and the company of family, friends and her many loving pets.
June was preceded in death by her parents, husband and lifelong friend, Nancy. She is survived by her children; Debbie, Dawn and Shawn (Suzi) Shaub; Grandchildren; Quincy, Tyler, Colt, Nikki, Ian and seven Great Grandchildren. June was a one of kind, feisty, unpretentious, focused woman and we loved her for it. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be at Informed Choice, 3325 East Washington Ave., Madison on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm immediately followed by a service.
