Joshua Wilson was a good and loyal friend to those who knew him. His unexpected death on Friday, June 28, 2013 is a tragic loss for his friends and family. He was described as intelligent, loving and kind. One of his favorite things was cooking, especially for others. He had a creative streak and wasn't afraid to experiment with recipes, much to the delight of those who had the privilege of dining with him. As soon as football season started, he could be found wearing his Vikings jersey and cheering on his favorite team with his girlfriend, Marie. Being a Vikings fan also made for a good-natured rivalry between him and his friends who were Packers or Bears fans. One of Joshua's other passions was fishing, something he'd learned as a little boy and that he never outgrew. His catches were often part of his experimental cooking.
Joshua was born October 14th, 1979 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Wilson (Sun Prairie, WI); sister, Jen Borden (Sun Prairie, WI); sister, Jodi Borden (Georgetown, TX); brother, Josiah Wilson (New Richmond, WI), as well as two nieces Kaleigh and Sydney Borden (Sun Prairie); his girlfriend, Marie Leveni (Sun Prairie) and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
A private celebration of his life will be held for immediate family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Joshua Wilson Memorial Fund at Summit Credit Union.
