James P. Clearmont

James Peter Clearmont, age 63 passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 9, 1951 in Milwaukee, the son of Leslie and Elsie (Germaine) Clearmont.
James attended Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and graduated in 1970. When he was in high school, his favorite activities were stage band, pit orchestra and marching band.
He joined the United States Air Force on January 1, 1971, serving in Minot, North Dakota. James worked on Minute Man Missiles and left the Air Force on March 23, 1973. This is when he moved back to Wisconsin to be near his family and eventually met and married the love of his life Rose Kluever.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rose (Kluever) Clearmont, mother; Elsie Marie Clearmont ( Leslie's spouse Erla Mae Webster Clearmont), his sister; Arlene (Clearmont) Kenney (John Kenney), his brother Duane Michael Clearmont and several nieces, nephews and great nephews and nieces on both sides.
James was preceded in death by his two beloved infant sons, Thomas Ray and Michael Lee Clearmont, his father Leslie Thomas Clearmont and his brother Leslie Joseph Clearmont.
A celebration of life service will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 605 Madison Street, Marshall, WI 53559 at Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Paul G. Anderson officiating.
Final resting of Jame's urn will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI at a later date.
