James B. Magrone, aged 70, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at his home in Belleville, Wisconsin.
Jim was born on June 29, 1948. Upon graduating from Berwick High School, Jim attended 2 years of Information Technology education in Pennsylvania. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served bravely in the Vietnam War. Following the Navy, he graduated from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota. Jim also worked for 20 years at Land O' Lakes in Minneapolis, and 12 years at the Department of Administration, State of Wisconsin.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth Magrone (Bafile) and Anthony Magrone of Berwick, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Lynn E. Owen of Belleville, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his brother Anthony Magrone, and his sister Rosanne Finucan (Magrone) of Berwick and Mifflinville, Pennsylvania, respectively. His daughters include April Magrone of North Branch, Minnesota; Kristen Cook (Owen) of Lincolnshire, Illinois; and Jessica Raimer (Owen) of Portage, Wisconsin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Tylor Klug, Caylee Klug, and Jasmin Salazar of North Branch, Minnesota; Eileen Cook and Claire Cook of Lincolnshire, Illinois; and Owen Raimer and Marlene Raimer of Portage, Wisconsin. Jim was dedicated to his family, and they will all miss him very much.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 6705 Wesner Road, Verona, Wisconsin, 53593. There will be a buffet open house at Jim's family home following the service.
