Jacquelyn Louise Bohne, 87, passed away at home on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Born December 6, 1934, to Olyn and Antonia Roth of Madison, WI, Jacki met the love of her life Harold "King" Bohne (who fondly referred to her as "Molly") on a blind date. Married soon after, they welcomed 5 children: Harold (Mary) Bohne, Hunter (Janet) Bohne, Joy (Bill) Lumsden, Hugh (Sandie) Bohne, and Jeanette (David) McMahon. A proud "Granny" to 14 grandchildren and 17+ great grandchildren, Jacki was an energetic soul and remained always young at heart.
The family cabin in Tomahawk was home to Jacki's favorite outdoor activities. Never one to sit still, she was still hunting and ATV'ing at 87! At home she was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, served at the VFW Women's Auxiliary - Post 7591, retired from Madison Schools Food Service, was Area Captain of TOPS, a member of Grover Riders Snowmobile Club, an avid reader and card player, a proud Purgolder, and a devout Badger fan.
Jacki is preceded in death by: husband, Harold Cyril, parents, Olyn and Antonia Roth, parents-in-law, Cyril and Lillian Bohne, siblings, Bernice (Steve) Vind, Patricia (Robert) Dailey, Beulah Jean (Ray) Smail, James Roth, Lynn (Tom) Brown, and great grandchild, Emmitt Arendt, sisters-in-law, Pat Roth and Patricia (Richard) Cooley, brothers-in-law, Cyril Bohne and Carl Hilgenberg.
She is survived by her 5 children, siblings, Doris (William) Brendler, Tom Roth, Terri (Wayne) Winans, sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Bohne and Virginia Hilgenberg, many nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to Agrace Hospice for their care of Jacki and family on this journey to Peace.
Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Jacki are invited to a Celebration of Life at VFW Post 7591 (301 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison) on January 28, 2023, from 11:00-4:00.
