Howard E. Hall

MADISON--Howard E. Hall, age 65, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Agrace Hospice Care after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born on June 18, 1956, the son of Donne and Betty (Schramm) Hall. He went on to graduate from Lancaster High School and Fennimore Tech School.

Howard was a general contractor, and he specialized in home repairs and carpentry. He was a lifelong and immense supporter of the AA organization. Howard was recently awarded the 25th year ceremonial coin for sobriety.

Howard loved cooking, camping, gardening, riding scooter, attending music festivals, being active in the AA organization, and collecting "treasures".
Howard is survived by his loving daughter Sadie Cook; brothers Mike Hall, Brian (Gail) Hall, and Mark Hall; and many other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents Roy and Bernice (Dempsey) Hall and maternal grandparents Walter and Ila (Clauer) Schramm; and siblings Julie Hall, David Hall, Daniel (Colleen) Hall, and Ronnie Hall.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 1-3:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Monona Serenity Group (AA Meeting House), 4933 Prairie Dock Drive, Madison, WI 53718.
Howard's family wishes to thank the compassionate staff of Agrace Hospice Care, especially Peg, for all their care for Howard during his stay.
The family also wishes to acknowledge and appreciate all the many friends, family, and visitors that brightened Howard's last days.
