Gerald Andrew Lapotka

MADISON - Gerald A. Lapotka, age 57, of Madison, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at Agrace Hospice Fitchburg. Gerald was born in Fort Riley, Kansas on July 19, 1958 to John and Mary Lapotka. He graduated from East High School in Madison. Gerald retired from Ohio Medical, Madison, WI where he worked as a fabricator. He enjoyed fishing, and playing video games.
Survivors include his brother, David (Debra) Lapotka of Madison, WI; his nephews, James Lapotka and family of St. Ignatius, MT, and Joseph Lapotka and family of WI; and many other relatives and special friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Gary.
The family would like to thank the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. for their friendship and compassionate care; Emily Doyle from Tellurian, Inc.; Porchlight, Inc., and Gerald's "Moonshiners" friend, Dave.
