Dianne Frances Fitzgerald

Dianne Frances Fitzgerald, age 71, of Madison, WI died on August 28, 2018 at Agrace Hospice Care. Dianne was born on May 4, 1947 in Portage, WI to Leo and Ineata (Slivinski) Fitzgerald. She is survived by her brothers; Patrick (Carol) Fitzgerald, David (Gail) Fitzgerald, Vincent (Georgia) Fitzgerald, and Sisters Donna Derr and Kathleen (Jeffery) Johnson. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews too. Having had no children, Dianne took special interest in all of them. She will be missed by her many lifelong and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Scott.

Dianne graduated from Pardeeville High School in 1965 and later attended UW-Whitewater and Madison College. She worked for the State of Wisconsin for many years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, making jewelry, creating counted cross stitch gifts, and other crafts. She was the keeper of family photos and planner of family reunions.

A visitation and memorial service will be held at St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Portage, WI on September 7. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a Mass to follow at 5:00 p.m.

Donations will be used to cover final expenses with any remaining funds split equally between the American Cancer Society and Agrace Hospice Care.
