HOLWEGER, Charlene "Charlie" M. (Goodnature-Killerlain)-
SUN PRAIRIE-Charlene was born April 1930 in Portage, to Vincent "Goody" and Charlotte Goodnature(deceased). Charlene went to be with Jesus April 2, 2013. Charlene lived on the family farm in Montello. Charlotte then married Alvin Odegaard and lived in Madison. Charlene was married to Glenn (Pat) Killerlain (deceased) and they had 10 children-Thomas (Tammy Wagner), Richard, Patricia Buell (Dennis White), Gary, Donald (Debi), Kathryn (Howard) Stenner, Leo, Sharon (deceased), Dane and Dean. She was later married to Stan "the Man" Holweger (deceased). She had 3 brothers, Donald (deceased), John (Laurie), Michael (deceased)(Judy) and a sister Marcy (Jim) Warren. She has 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed church, choir, bible readings, Bingo, puzzles, crocheting, cross stich, crosswords and game shows. She loved having visits from friends, neighbors and family members.
The family wishes to thank Jody, Lisa and the staff at the COPS program at South Madison Coalition for their many years of support for Charlene. The family also thanks the many caregivers and the many staff members of Agrace HospiceCare, which helped keep her in her home, as she wished. Thank you to her son Dean, who she lived with, who was her main caregiver for the last 5 years. The funeral will be held April 13, 2013 at Lakeview Lutheran Church, 4001 Mandrake Rd., Madison. Visitation will be 9:30-11am with the service at 11am.
