Carolyn M. Gill

Carolyn Meade Gill (Mitchell), age 70, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. Despite battling Multiple Sclerosis for many years, Carolyn showed us what true grace, courage, and a lot of humor look like—even when life wasn’t always playing fair.

Born on March 5th, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late James and Marjory (Love) Mitchell. Carolyn set off on a journey that included studying Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her career in Finance took her to Cuna Credit Union and Equifax in Madison.

In 1989, she met the luckiest guy, Don Gill, and less than a year later they married. She enjoyed road trips with their dogs, and playing and watching various sports and games.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Don, and many friends and family across Madison, Michigan, and Santa Fe. There will not be a funeral, per Carolyn's request. Informed Choice Funeral and Cremation Alternatives will be assisting with her final requests.
