MADISON - Amy Barbic, age 34, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born to light up the world with her smile. On November 11, 1983 in Skokie, Ill., as the daughter of James E. Kusek and Judy L. Kusek-Morrison. She moved to Waunaukee in 1996. She met her husband, Orion when they were in high school in Sun Prairie and married in 2008. They had their three children who were the loves of her life. She worked at Kids' Safari Learning Center as an early childhood education teacher where she touched the lives of so many.
She is survived by her husband, Orion; her children, Natalie (10), Julian (7), and Makenna (2); her brother Sean Kusek; sister-in-law, Adriane; sister, Heather Pertzborn; brother-in-law, Rob Pertzborn and stepfather, Mark Morrison. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life and light will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Cress Funeral Home on 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53704. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
